Headshots are fun to shoot. Especially when you get to work with people who are open and warm and fun to talk to. One of my recent shoots was with Sydney Davis, of Let’s Rise Personal/Executive Coaching. She came to me via a referral from another client. She needed headshots that captured “her.” We talked for a while about what that meant. Where is the photo going to be used? Who is going to be the audience and what do you want them to get from the photograph? Then we started shooting. And we talked more about what she does and how she does it. We just talked and talked while I snapped away – oh and laughed quite a bit too – and before you know it – BLAM, headshots are done.
